## Evidence limits

- Subject: adult and juvenile yellow-crowned night herons, identified in the related field records as _Nyctanassa violacea_.
- Nest evidence: two public derivatives show one adult in the middle with two juveniles at either side in one nest.
- Later evidence: three public derivatives show one juvenile at ground level at close range.
- Individual identity is not asserted. The later bird cannot be proven from the photographs alone to be the same individual observed on 2026-07-10 or one particular juvenile from the three-bird nest frame.
- Exact location, GPS coordinates, residence-relative context, and source metadata remain withheld.
- Raw nest material remains in restricted local intake under `FIELD-OBS-2026-07-13-HERON-NEST`.
- The close-range files were exported without location information and reprocessed as metadata-stripped public derivatives.

The public set establishes the biological observation without turning the nesting site into a public location record.
