ATLAS Report 2026.10.01 — The Step Nobody Ran
Public ATLAS report reconstructing 2026-09-14 through 2026-10-01. Twelve days with nothing merged while the operator was ill, then seventeen merges in two afternoons, most from the second maintainer: the Bull Valley Scaduscope and Ground Survey, 426 Shadow Zone ephemera, and a production break caused by a deploy step that was written down but never run, repaired by making every deploy apply its own migrations. The sighting intake gate shipped on 09-30, nine days after FI-LOG-022 described it as in place; that error is corrected here rather than in FI-LOG-022.
Bull Valley Scaduscope / Bull Valley Ground Survey / shared D1 database / sighting intake (FI-PROJ-011) / Shadow Zone ephemera / manual deploy steps / migrations-on-deploy / review queue / correction to FI-LOG-022 / window reconstructed from the commit record, the live database, and operator testimony / correction recorded, FI-LOG-022 left as written / L'Archive

ATLAS Report 2026.09.21 — The Door That Opens Both Ways
Public ATLAS report reconstructing 2026-09-02 through 2026-09-13, twelve unreported days in which the archive opened its first public write channel — the JJAMMOCAN sighting intake, shipped without a review gate — and in the same week accessioned the L'Archive raw intake register under an explicit redaction rule. Twenty-six Shadow Zone ephemera entered alongside them as the low-ceremony control case. What the record states and what this report reads into it are kept in separate registers.
public sighting intake (FI-PROJ-011) / L'Archive raw intake register / Shadow Zone ephemera / public write channel / redaction policy / raw-to-canonical crosswalk / window reconstructed from the commit record / intake hardened after the fact / L'Archive

ATLAS Report 2026.09.01 — The Rag That Would Not Let You Leave
Public ATLAS report recording the provenance of the Maple Leaf Rag Zone's looping "extra-crispy" rag: a MIDI force-downloaded from Yvette's Bridal Formal — a Panama City bridal-shop site that pushes embedded MIDIs at every first visitor — rendered through the Torus plugin from Circular Ruin and bounced to the loop the zone plays. Verified fact, single-source attribution, and folklore are kept in separate registers.
extra-crispy rag loop / Maple Leaf Rag Zone (/maple-leaf-rag-zone/) / found-audio provenance / old-web folklore / signal chain (MIDI → Torus → MP3) / provenance published / signal chain disclosed / The Shadow Zone

ATLAS Report 2026.08.29 — The Archive Already Knew
Public ATLAS report on a routine local tidying session that re-derived an alarm the published record had already settled. A prior report had tiered the incomplete whole-disk transfer correctly and set the acceptance standard; the operating layer read the raw evidence fresh, reached a harsher conclusion, and had to be corrected by the operator from memory. Three faults recorded, all in the operating layer, none in the media. Nothing was lost and no drive was written to.
WD Red archive media / WD Black staging pair / recovered sample set / backup staging chain / provenance labelling / operating-layer recall / routine tidying completed / recovery work deferred by operator / L'Archive

ATLAS Report 2026.08.28 — Six of Five
Public ATLAS report on a preservation tool that reported five local checkouts, verdict clean, while a sixth had always existed. The scan searched for a .git directory; in a linked worktree .git is a file, so every worktree on the machine was structurally invisible. Third instance in two days of a discovery predicate narrower than the category it was meant to cover, each failing silently. Caught by a second method run for an unrelated reason. Nothing was stranded.
ATLAS repository topology / local checkout inventory / git worktree layout / filesystem discovery predicate / clone inventory / discovery corrected / classification pending operator / ATLAS

ATLAS Report 2026.08.27 — Zero of Zero
Public ATLAS report on two errors caught before publication: a location scan that examined zero of thirty-six staged photographs while reporting a clean result, and a maintained adapter misclassified as a stray copy and queued for deletion. Both were surfaced by existing procedure. No source was lost and no history was rewritten.
FI archive media / ATLAS repository topology / EXIF location scrubbing / git clone topology / shell argument expansion / corrections landed / verification standard revised / ATLAS

ATLAS Report 2026.08.15 — The Counter Is Not the Copy
Public ATLAS recovery report for two imaging routes closed by evidence: a whole-disk copy ended with a device error after approximately 1.996 TB, while a later read-only ext4 used-block attempt exposed incompatible block accounting and was stopped before overrunning its 2 TB destination. Source media remained protected and recovery is not declared complete.

ATLAS Report 2026.07.22 — Nothing Is Wasted or Lost
Public ATLAS field report for an unsuccessful Windows installation: neither candidate boot path reached Setup, but the storage record remained intact, destructive work was withheld, and the failed route became inspectable evidence instead of unrecorded loss.
