Found-image meme supplied for The Shadow Zone: a cleanly lit studio headshot of an unidentified bald man in rimless spectacles against a white field, looking directly at the camera, under a burned-in caption offering help. The caption opens with a racial slur; it is recorded here by description rather than transcribed, and remains legible in the image itself. Unlike FI-EPH-011, where a comparable caption sat over an anatomical plate, here the slur is attached to a specific identifiable face — this was raised with the operator before accession and the item was admitted uncropped at his direction. The pictured man is not identified, has granted no clearance, and there is no indication he consented to this use of his portrait. The image carries the handle "@war_on_wes" as a burned-in watermark; that handle is recorded as it appears and is not treated as an attribution of authorship.
