Identification notes
What is known
Found image supplied for The Shadow Zone: a black-and-white mashup of The Shining and Elden Ring. Jack Nicholson, in character, stares grimly over a typewriter, and the page below repeats, with drifting spacing and dropped letters, "I am Malenia. Blade of Miquella" — the Elden Ring boss's introduction, standing in for the film's famous repeated sentence. The joke is the boss fight's reputation for driving players to obsession. Maker, origin, and date are not recorded. The exif scrub reported no location metadata to strip.
