Identification notes
What is known
Found image supplied for The Shadow Zone: a hand-assembled diagram titled "The valid horseshoe theory of consumables," built around an engraved horseshoe running from "good to consume" down to "bad to consume." One arm is "über health" (raw milk, tinned fish, "anything fermented"); the other is "depravity and indulgence" (cigarettes, "gas station beef jerky," diet soda). A "zone of moderation" holds natural yogurt and homemade hummus, and "purgatory" at the bottom is "anything pre packaged at Trader Joe's." The rankings are reproduced as found, not as dietary advice. Maker, origin, and date are not recorded. The exif scrub reported no location metadata to strip.
