What is known
Found image supplied for The Shadow Zone: a four-panel rage-comic grid in black and white, each panel captioned "Wait for it to get better," numbered one through four. A stick-figure Trollface grins in the first two, then melts and decays in the third, and ends as an illegible black smudge in the fourth. It is a bleak joke about waiting out a bad situation, told with an early-internet mascot. Reproduced as found. Maker, origin, and date are not recorded. The exif scrub reported no location metadata to strip.
