What is known
Found image supplied for The Shadow Zone: a black-and-white photograph of a crowded formal nightclub or banquet, with men in tuxedos and women in evening dress seated at tables among balloons and party hats. At center, a man in a dinner jacket and bow tie wears a round-eared cartoon mouse mask with a wide grin, while the people around him, including a woman beside him with a startled look, gaze at the camera. The image appears digitally sharpened; its date, location, and whether the mask is original or added are unverified. Maker, origin, and date are not recorded.
