Identification notes
What is known
Found image supplied for The Shadow Zone: a phone screenshot of an early text-to-image generator interface. The prompt field reads "Whoever didn't kill Jeffrey Epstein," beside an orange "Run" button, and below it is a three-by-three grid of warped, low-fidelity portraits of a gray-haired man, with the smeared, melting faces typical of that generation of image models. The joke plays on the "Epstein didn't kill himself" conspiracy slogan; the grid is machine output, not photographs of any real person, and makes no factual claim. Maker, origin, and date are not recorded. The exif scrub reported no location metadata to strip.
