Identification notes
What is known
Found image supplied for The Shadow Zone: an extreme close-up phone selfie of a bearded man with a reddish beard, shot from below in dim warm light and staring wide-eyed at the camera. The word "WAT" is scrawled over his beard in red freehand drawing strokes, the kind added with a phone's markup tool. It works as a homemade reaction image of stunned confusion. Maker, origin, and date are not recorded. The exif scrub reported no location metadata to strip.
