Identification notes
What is known
Found image supplied for The Shadow Zone: an overhead photograph of a black pedalboard lying on a wooden floor, carrying four Boss distortion pedals patched together in a row: a "Heavy Metal HM-2," a "Digital Metalizer MZ-2," a "HYPER Metal HM-3," and a "Metal Zone MT-2." The pedals are scuffed and worn, their check lights glowing red, with power cables looping behind. The joke is the redundancy of four metal-distortion units on one board. The owner of the board is unverified. Maker, origin, and date are not recorded. The exif scrub reported no location metadata to strip.
