Identification notes
What is known
Found image supplied for The Shadow Zone: a three-panel edit of Watchmen's Dr. Manhattan alone on the pink surface of Mars under a starfield. Rewritten caption boxes trace a life in stasis: "It is 2007. I am nineteen years old. I am coding an email template with tables," then the same sentence at twenty-five in 2013, then at thirty-four in 2022, the figure first in close-up, then standing distant, then seated on a rock. The joke is web-developer lore about HTML email never escaping table layouts. Maker, origin, and date are not recorded. The exif scrub reported no location metadata to strip.
