Identification notes
What is known
Found image supplied for The Shadow Zone: a trolley-problem drawing in which the trolley has already plowed through a long row of tied-up figures, left as red smears behind it, while five more wait on the other branch. The lever-puller says, "But if I divert the trolley now that would be unfair to all the people it's already killed." The joke is commonly read as a satire of sunk-cost reasoning, including in debates over student debt relief as the file name suggests; that framing is not stated in the image and is unverified. Maker, origin, and date are not recorded. The exif scrub reported no location metadata to strip.
