The rest of the archive was not built to be a portfolio. It is a record: restorations logged as they happened, field observations written before I knew what they meant yet, and dossiers assembled after the fact. This short entry is the exception. It points to five existing records and says, plainly, why they are evidence of the kind of writing I do.
Entry 000 - A Thing Documented Is a Thing Not Yet Lost - the founding entry. Establishes the voice the whole project runs on, and holds it for the length of a full piece, not a paragraph.
Entry 001 - Perspective, Peregrines, & Pang - three unrelated ideas turned into one working vocabulary. The closest thing in this archive to what an agency would call brand voice: dense material made portable.
Entry 002 - The Yellow-Crowned Night Heron - a single bird, watched long enough to become an argument about patience and unfinished form. If you read one thing here, read this one.
CaseLabs Mercury S8 Restoration - the same discipline turned on hardware instead of language: a build documented as it was taken apart and put back together, written so someone who has never touched a loop can follow the thread.
Entry 003 - L'Incident - shorter, faster, closer to a dispatch than an essay. Range, not just register.
None of it says "copywriter" on the label. All of it is the same skill: take something dense, and make it hold together for someone who was not there when it happened.
