00. Routing Note

The short form lives at /a-way-in/.

That is the application link. It is built for a reader arriving cold from a resume, cover letter, or hiring portal. It does not ask them to understand the whole institution before they can find the evidence.

This is the Signal form: the record of why that shorter door exists.

01. Why It Exists

Forgotten Industries was not built to be a portfolio.

That matters. A portfolio usually selects finished pieces and arranges them to prove hireability. This archive does something stranger and more useful: it preserves process, uncertainty, naming, recovery, tooling, and revision until the work can be inspected from more than one angle.

For a hiring reader, that creates a problem. The strongest evidence is already here, but the archive does not naturally flatten itself into "samples." It has its own shelves, its own language, and its own custody chain. A reader needs a way in.

So the short form names five records and refuses to duplicate them.

02. Five Doors

Entry 000 - A Thing Documented Is a Thing Not Yet Lost is the founding entry. It proves that the voice can hold under weight.

Entry 001 - Perspective, Peregrines, & Pang turns separate materials into a usable vocabulary. It is the clearest bridge between archive logic and public-facing voice.

Entry 002 - The Yellow-Crowned Night Heron is the field-observation proof: attention sustained long enough to become structure.

CaseLabs Mercury S8 Restoration moves the same discipline into hardware. The subject changes; the method does not.

Entry 003 - L'Incident keeps the dispatch register alive: brief, strange, and controlled.

03. Working Claim

None of it says "copywriter" on the label.

That is the point.

The common skill is not the label. It is the act underneath it: take something dense, technically or emotionally loaded, and make it hold together for someone who was not there when it happened.

The short form carries the link.

Le Signal preserves the reason.
