THE FAILURE ENTERS THE RECORD BEFORE THE REPAIR.

  • MSI X99

    Previously failed to operate. The cause remains unknown and may be electrical. Direct heat-spreader reading now identifies the installed CPU as an Intel Core i7-5930K; present function remains unverified.

  • ASUS IMPACT

    Recovered without a processor. The modular audio hardware, I/O shield, antenna leads, and matching EK monoblock remain with the assembly.

  • PUBLIC CLAIM

    Identified hardware, not working hardware. No component receives a functioning status until controlled bench evidence supports it.

    Inspect

    Check sockets, power stages, connectors, residues, heat damage, missing components, and mounting hardware.

  4. 04

    Bench

    Use known-good power, one memory module, an air cooler, and only the display hardware required to reach firmware.

  5. 05

    Record

    Capture diagnostic codes, CPU and memory detection, fan speed, temperatures, and every stop condition.

  6. 06

    Advance

    Add storage, networking, firmware work, or liquid cooling only after the minimal configuration is stable.
