LE RÉDEMPTEURE

Matthew's past persona embodied as the boutique hardline-cooled X99 main cube: Mercury S8 upper chassis, MSI X99S XPOWER AC, and i7-5930K.

LE SAUVEGARDER

Matthew's present persona embodied as the pedestal: the preservation chamber intended to carry the storage arrays. Array membership remains planned until inventoried, assembled, and verified.

REUNION

L’ARCHIVE = LE RÉDEMPTEURE + LE SAUVEGARDER. This is the recovery of one physical archive artwork, not a generic old-PC rebuild.

    PRIOR PLATFORM / X79

    ASUS Rampage IV Black Edition identified by the operator as the predecessor and planned prior platform. The board is presently missing; physical installation in the Mercury S8 remains unconfirmed.

    2014 / X99

    MSI X99S XPOWER AC, i7-5930K, Kingston DDR4-3000, and MSI GTX 970 Gold hardware documented operating. X99 is the historically intended successor compute platform for the Mercury S8.

  3. 03

    2016 / EXIT PATH

    Unresolved configuration and boot instability ended the X99 platform's primary-machine role. The exact fault was never established.

  4. 04

    2016 / REDEEMER

    The replacement i7-6700K / ASUS Z170-Deluxe platform became REDEEMER in the white NZXT H440.

  5. 05

    2017 / 7700K

    An i7-7700K system followed REDEEMER in 2017. Its exact configuration and adoption date remain pending source reconciliation.

    JULY 2026 / HANDOFF

    The 7700K system passed to a new owner after the JJAMMOCAN position was established. Exact date and protected transaction details remain withheld.

    JULY 2026 / JJAMMOCAN

    The Ryzen 5 7600 system is the continuity platform while X99 is recovered. It is not the permanent destination and remains in service until LE RÉDEMPTEURE is stable beyond a single POST.

ORIGINAL RECORDS

Original MSI X99S XPOWER AC box, manuals and guides, driver discs, and SATA-label sheet are visibly retained. Serial-bearing source frames remain local.

LOOSE DDR4

HyperX Fury DDR4 and multiple Corsair Vengeance LPX modules are visible. Exact capacity, speed, part number, compatibility, and function await label inspection and testing.

COOLING HARDWARE

Intel LGA 2011-labeled studs and probable EK board or VRM hardware are present. Completeness is unverified, and no conventional air-cooler heatsink is confirmed.

AUXILIARY DEVICES

An M.2 SSD and MSI Wi-Fi/Bluetooth module are visible. Both remain outside the minimum first-power configuration.

POWER BOUNDARY

Loose VGA-labeled modular leads remain unassigned. They will not be connected until exact PSU provenance is established; modular PSU cables are never mixed.

CLAIM BOUNDARY

This intake establishes custody, not compatibility, completeness, safety, or present function. The board still contains zero installed memory and has not been powered in this recovery pass.

    Bench Surface

    Move the board from its plastic storage tray to a clean cardboard motherboard box or another rigid nonconductive surface. Never power atop an antistatic bag.

  2. 02

    CPU + Cooling

    Keep the confirmed 5930K seated and the socket latched. Fit a compatible LGA2011-v3 air cooler with fresh thermal paste.

  3. 03

    One Memory Module

    Install one known-good non-ECC unbuffered DDR4 UDIMM at JEDEC speed in DIMM1. Eight slots do not mean eight installed modules.

  4. 04

    Power + Display

    Use the non-modular Thermaltake 600 W only after its model label, age, leads, and condition are cleared. Connect its fixed 24-pin ATX, native CPU/EPS 8-pin, and GPU PCIe lead to the air-cooled GTX 1060 6 GB.

  5. 05

    Clear + Record

    Disconnect incoming power, clear CMOS, use the onboard power control, and capture the two-digit debug code and all fan or temperature behavior.

  6. 06

    Stop Boundary

    Exclude drives, M.2, Wi-Fi, networking, pumps, liquid blocks, BIOS flashing, overclocking, and permanent installation. Never power the waterblocked GTX 780 dry. Preserve the unverified AX1500i. Stop for smoke, arcing, sharp electrical odor, or abnormal heat.

ONE POST IS A SIGNAL. STABILITY IS THE GATE.

ROLE

X99 / 5930K is the intended compute platform for LE RÉDEMPTEURE. Its role is established; present function is not.

LE CONTINUANT / CONTINUANCE

JJAMMOCAN remains the operating continuity platform until X99 completes repeatable cold boots, stable firmware recognition, memory validation, and stock thermal and load checks.

COOLING GATE

LGA2011-labeled studs do not establish a complete cooler. First power waits for a confirmed compatible air cooler with complete hardware and fresh thermal paste.

POWER GATE

The Thermaltake 600 W has adequate nominal wattage for the stock bench set, but its exact model and condition must be recorded. AX1500i and loose modular cables remain preserved and separate.

ARCHIVE GATE

LE SAUVEGARDER's arrays remain a planned preservation chamber until every drive, carrier, controller, power path, and independent archive copy is reconciled.

HANDOFF GATE

Do not sell or dismantle the AM5 continuity platform after one successful POST. The transition occurs only after repeatable X99 stability is recorded.
