CONTINUANCE is the persistence persona behind the archive — endurance, maintenance, and the preservation of things that would otherwise be forgotten — surfaced as both a dossier and a research instrument for searching and cross-referencing archive sources two at a time.

Documentation and restoration of a white powder-coated CaseLabs Mercury S8 with pedestal, stored for roughly a decade and returned to the bench as part hardware archive, part recovery log, part proof of life.

Caption, alt text, tags, timestamp, and first context give the signal enough handles to survive.

The FI entry stabilizes the specimen: what appeared, what was observed, what remains uncertain, and why it was kept.

The case file examines the object as evidence without rushing it into a finished interpretation.

The final abstraction names the principle revealed through the artifact while leaving the artifact intact.
